How did Amir manage to convince Jason Derulo to put his voice on the title “Il y a”? The French singer says everything about this duo but also about his next album in an interview for WECB. An interview conducted by Sébastien Lof-Lecoq.

After a year and a half of waiting, Amir made his comeback to music on Friday, November 24, with the single “Il y a”. An unexpected piece sung as a duet with American star Jason Derulo!

A collaboration which could take place after exchanges of models between the two artists. “I said to myself: ‘There’s a chance in a thousand that he’ll stick.’ Instead of a response, I received his voice on it three weeks later.,” reveals Amir, proud to have convinced the international showman. “On a personal level, for me it’s a great pleasure to be able to collaborate with this artist that I love.», he adds to the microphone of WECB.

This single has just been unveiled, the public is now wondering if the duo will meet again on stage or in a joint clip. “We don’t want this project to exist only on streaming platforms, it must be human, not just digital. I am sure that despite the distance, we will achieve it. In any case, we have the desire.», replies Amir full of hope.

Is this new hit from Amir a harbinger of a new album? Fans of the singer are now wondering if he is preparing his comeback with a new project. Unfortunately, that won’t happen right away. “At the moment, I’m devoting myself to my theater tourreveals Amir. And as soon as it is finished I will take the necessary time to get together with my creative friends and I hope to be able to create my most beautiful album yet.”

His most beautiful opus which also promises to be very personal. “I’ve been through a lot over the last three years. I think it’s time to pour them out, put them to music and release a little of these emotions that I have encapsulated.», concludes the singer.
