Music news

Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, Kasey Musgraves, Alanis Morissette and John Legend appeared on the show ” Christmas at Graceland “.

Lana Del Rey performed a dark rendition of Elvis’ song ” Unchained Melody » from 1977, originally performed by the Righteous Brothers, as part of the show Christmas at Graceland broadcast on NBC. The special, broadcast from the singer’s home in Graceland, also included appearances by Post Malone, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Kasey Musgraves, Alanis Morissette and John Legend.

Post Malone appeared poolside to perform the King’s 1968 song, “ (You’re The) Devil In Disguise ”, offering an intimate, solo rendition of the song.

Kacey Musgraves, playing Priscilla Presley, visited the main entrance of Graceland to perform ” Can’t Help Falling in Love », his contribution to the soundtrack of the biopic Elvis directed by Baz Luhrmann in 2022.

Other artists were instead inspired by the end-of-year holidays by performing Christmas classics. Alanis Morrissette, who performed with her band in front of Elvis’ jet, gave a punk rock twist to ” Last Christmas “, while John Legend took to the piano to play ” Happy Christmas (War Is Over) “.
