Francesco Guccini – fresh from the success of “Canzoni da tavern” (READ THE REVIEW) presents “Songs from intorto and from tavern”: a special collection, available exclusively in physical format from Friday 1 December.
The flagship of this special superbox is the exclusive 45 rpm vinyl containing the single on the A side But Mi with Ornella Vanoni and the single on the B-side Hello beautiful with Tosca.
SONGS
Having become part of the traditional repertoire of Milanese popular songs and that of the Resistance, Ma Mì is proposed again in Canzoni da intorto in the form of a fun “ballad”: the unmistakable voice of Ornella Vanoni accompanies the Maestro di Pavana in telling the story of a partisan captured by the enemies who resists for forty days and forty nights to the beatings of the black jailers and the flattery of the commissioner without revealing anything about his faithful companions.
Opening track of the new recording project Canzoni da tavern, Bella ciao is the most important Italian popular song dedicated to the Italian Resistance which here sees the voice of Francesco Guccini intertwine with that of the singer and actress Tosca, giving us an unprecedented version sung in Italian and in Farsi.
