Shakira, Natalia Lafourcade and Karol G were the top winners of the edition.
As happens year after year, this November 16th the new edition of the Latin Grammy Awards took place, only this time it was not held in the United States, but in Seville, Spain. The nominated talent, as well as the presenters, walked the red carpet before the ceremony, among whom we could see Rosalia, Pablo Alboran, Christian Nodal and Danna Paola.
The event was not free of spectacular moments, especially due to the presentations of artists such as Maluma, Camilo, Maria Becerra, BZRP, Juanes and many more. Controversies also arose and the spotlight fell on the meeting and the kiss between Featherweight and Nicki Nicole; as well as an awkward moment during the speech Alejandro Sanz.
One of the moments that most amazed viewers were the hints that were thrown between Rauw Alejandro and Rosalia, now an ex-couple, while they were on stage. The Motomami composer surprised everyone by performing her version of “Our Love Broke” by the Spanish singer Rocío Jurado.
Shakira, Karol G and Natalia Lafourcade were the winners of the most important awards of the evening, taking home the awards for “Of all the flowers” as Best Recording of the Year, Tomorrow will be nice for Best Album of the Year, and “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” for Song of the Year.
