Olivia Rodrigo has released the video clip of the single Can’t Catch Me Nowthe main song in the soundtrack of the new film “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of the Nightingale and the Serpent”.
A song with a folk-rock flavour, “Can’t Catch Me Now” is the new song by the American superstar of Filipino origins. The artist recently obtained 6 nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards. Olivia Rodrigo, in fact, is nominated in the categories: album of the year (GUTS), recording of the year (vampire), song of the year (vampire), best pop solo performance (vampire), best pop vocal album (GUTS) and best rock song (ballad of a homeschooled girl).
THE SOUNDTRACK
The soundtrack is based on and inspired by the film “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of the Nightingale and the Serpent” will be released on November 17th.
On October 20th, the song “The Hanging Tree”, sung by the lead actress Rachel Zegler, was also released on the soundtrack. The famous song was featured in the 2014 film “Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part I”, sung by the previous protagonist Jennifer Lawrence, who played the iconic role of Katniss Everdeen. In the new film the origin of the song will be shown, which will then be passed down from generations of Panem to come within the saga.
The new film “Hunger Games: The Ballad of the Nightingale and the Serpent” is directed by director Francis Lawrence and will be released in Italian cinemas on November 15, 2023, distributed by Notorious Pictures.
THE SYNOPSIS
