Discover “Wasterpiece”, the latest single from The Kills. Its clip, directed by Noel Paul, is available via the player below:

This title is taken from God Games, new album from the Anglo-American indie duo. This is the first record they have signed since Ash & Ice in 2016 We also find the titles “103”, “New York” and “LA Hex”.

Interviewed by the editorial staff in our issue 157, Alison Mosshart explains the correlation between the cover and the subjects covered in the album: “This image is a beautiful metaphor for the human condition. The bullfighter thinks he is brave and must protect himself. For the bull, the bullfighter is cowardly and he attacks him for no reason. Human brutality can be disguised as a sporting act or a pompous ceremony… God Games also deals with this human obsession with wanting to preserve our traditions at all costs, even when everything is falling apart, for better or for worse. »
