San Pascualito Rey, a Mexican rock band with a history of 23 years, celebrated an exciting moment by presenting the documentary Song That Burns at the Cinépolis Diana facilities, located on the iconic Paseo de la Reforma Avenue.
The original lineup of San Pascualito Reywhich included Alex Otaola, Lucas Ortega, Juan Morales and Pascual Reyes, established the foundation of the band. Over the years, the lineup has evolved, and the current lineup features Pascual Reyes as a vocalist, Vicente Jauregui as a guitarist and backing vocalist, Juan Morales in the bass, Chepo Valdez as a drummer and backing vocalist, and Giancarlo Bonfatti in charge of the synthesizers.
The documentary Song That Burnsdirected by Yulene Olaizola, Ruben Imaz and Luis Flores Rabagooffers an intimate view of the band, following them since 2016. Includes scenes of the band performing in emblematic places such as the Metropólitan Theater and the extinct The Plaza Condesa From Mexico City.
The film has been presented at important film festivals, such as the International Festival of Cinema of Guadalajara (FICG), Guanajuato (GIFF) and UNAM (FICUNAM).
