After writing hits for Kendji Girac, Matt Pokora, Amel Bent, Vitaa and many other artists, Slimane has just collaborated with another French singer: Keen’V. The latter shared the good news on his Instagram account last Friday, November 3.

We discover him in the recording studio alongside the singer of “Viens on s’aime”. In the caption of the publication, Keen’V thanks the artist for writing a piece for him: “Today studio session with a man I respect to the highest degree, Mr. Slimane. Thanks to him for the text, the top line and the advice. (…) Soon in your ears.”

In the comments, Slimane reacted with an adorable sentence: “Thank you for who you have been since the beginning!”.

Slimane: soon to be rewarded for his duets?

Keen’V is reportedly preparing his return to the forefront on the occasion of his fifteen-year career. A birthday that he will celebrate with great fanfare with a tour and a new album.

Slimane, for his part, continues to explode everything in his path with his recent duets, notably with Kery James on “Mille Raisons” but also with Claudio Capéo and their title “Chez Toi”. This latest collaboration is nominated for the WECB Music Awards 2023 in the category “Francophone Song of the Year” but also “Francophone Collaboration of the Year”.

Slimane could also walk away with the “Francophone Artist of the Year” award on November 10, during the ceremony to be held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. It’s up to you to vote!
