New Kids on the Block release ‘The Block Revisited’, on the occasion of the album’s 15th anniversary

pop icons New Kids on the Block they launch today The Block Revisited to celebrate that 15 years ago they met again to reinforce their status as one of the pillars of pop culture.

New Kids on the Block revisit their hits from that incredible 2008 album, including bonus material in various formats: 2 LP, CD and digital.

Along with your successes Summertime, Single and 2 In The Morningthis anniversary set also includes the band’s new collaboration with K-Pop superstars Joshua, DK and Dino of Seventeen on the track Dirty Dancing (Dem Jointz Remix), collaboration that has been remixed by American record producer and Grammy winner, Dem Jointz. One of the fans’ favorite songs, Coming Home It is also included in the anniversary set.

The Block

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the moment when the New Kids reunited on the television show Today Showon April 4, 2008, to the surprise of the audience. This would be followed by the release of the album The Blocktheir first album in fourteen years since Face the Music (1994).

The original album The Block came out on September 2, 2008, along with the Deluxe edition that included 4 extra songs. It reached number 1 on the US pop album sales chart and number 2 on the Billboard 200. Several artists collaborated on it: Ne-Yo, Lady Gaga, The Pussycat Dolls, Akon, Teddy Riley and New Edition.

Over the next 15 years, New Kids embarked on numerous sell-out tours, selling over 4 million tickets worldwide. Touring and performing with numerous artists such as Salt-N-Pepa, Boyz II Men, Paula Abdul, En Vogue and many more, the New Kids continued their journey in the music world. They have headlined the iconic Fenway Park three times and will continue to represent their hometown of Boston with pride. They have traveled with their fans on NKOTB cruises and held their first NKOTB fan convention, BLOCKCON, which took place earlier this year.
