Will Smith is coming the new album and a concert in Italy

Music news

Will Smith returns to the music scene with the “Based on a True Story” tour, which will take him around Europe and the United Kingdom.

The actor and rapper will perform in some of the most important international festivals, including Mawazine in Morocco, the Positiv Festival in France, the Dreambech in Spain and the Big Art Festival in Italy.

The disc

The announcement of the tour comes in conjunction with the release of Will Smith's first album after twenty years, “Based on a True Story”, scheduled for March 28. During the concerts, the artist will present the new songs next to his classics as “Gettin 'Jiggy Wit It”, “Miami” and “Summertime”.

The album will contain 14 tracks and collaborations with artists such as DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor and Jac Ross. Among the individuals already published, “First Love”, “Beautiful Scars”, “Tantrum”, “Work of Art” and “You can make it” will find space.

Recently, Will Smith reached first place in the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart with “You Can Make It”, made with Friday and the Sunday Service Choir.

His performance at the Bet Awards 2024, in which he presented the song in a suggestive flame scenario, was successful. In addition, it went on stage of the Grammy Awards 2025 to pay homage to his mentor quincy Jones.
