With “Radio Vega”, Rose Villain closes his trilogy and does it in the most powerful possible way: transforming his aesthetic and its sound into a total experience.
This album is the result of two years of artistic evolution, experimentation and a very clear vision. Rose is no longer just the beauty with blue hair.
It is a strong name of the Italian scene that aims to play directly in an international championship.
The album is a journey into space, in full villain style, with mythological references and futuristic visions that intertwine with music that mixes electronic, hip-hop, soul and rock. The concept is inspired by the constellation of the lira and the Vega star, but also to the myth of Orpheus and Euridice, because in the end everything always turns around love, loss and music as the only escape route.
If Rose is the voice of this epic, Sixpm is the sound architect: Bonnie and Clyde, a perfect partnership, pure alchemy between life and art, which is renewed and amplified in this new project. At their side, a group of exceptional collaborators: Guè, Lazza, Geolier, Chiello and Fabri Fibra, companions of path linked by a mutual esteem and an artistic affinity that goes beyond the simple host.
The journey starts with The kiss of the snakewhere film arches and Guè create a magnetic and dark atmosphere. Millionaire Instead, it surprises with a gospel choir that explodes in an epic refrain. No oh wellwith Lazza, is pure Fire: a trap banger to be sent to loop until the exhaustion. With Geolier, Rose immerses himself even more in his poetics, while Music to forget It makes a leap in the past with Power-Pop and Synth 80s sounds.
Then comes Patrick Batemanan absurd mix between a jazzy plan, 808 doors and a special Afrobeat that makes you move without stopping. We find the most emotional part of the disc in Tear mepoignant ballad with Chiello, while the pop office explodes with Outlawthe Sanremo hit that no longer comes out of the head.
In the second part of the disc, Rose does not give up a blow: Bopwith Fabri Fibra, is pure fun and attitude. Smith & Wesson opens with orchestral arches while You know It is an introspective piece, with an electric guitar that breaks. WTF Ha Vibes Soul reminiscent of Amy Winehouse, while the last piece, Love is a serial killercloses the circle perfectly, condensing the whole sound world of roses into a single track.
This album is the definitive confirmation: Rose Villain is not wrong. Vega radio It is an ambitious project, full of references and experimentation, but at the same time accessible and ultra recognizable. A perfect mix between bangers, moments of pure poetry and a production with attention to the smallest details. In short, Rose continues to rose, but every time at the next level.
