Paul McCartney will publish ” The story of a band on the run “, Which will tell the story of Wings, the group he formed after the Beatles.

Paul McCartney revisits the Wings era in a new book, which will appear on November 4. Wings: the story of a band on the run Bases on dozens of hours of interviews with McCartney, his companions from Wings and other people who revolved around the group. This 528 -page book also presents more than 100 photographs of the time, many of which have never been published.

After the dissolution of the Beatles and two solo albums (McCartney And Ramthe latter with Linda McCartney) Paul formed Wings in 1971 with Linda, the former singer of the Moody Blues Denny Laine and the drummer Denny Seiwell. During the ten years that followed, Wings released seven studio albums and had several changes, the McCartney and Laine remaining the only permanent members until 1981.
