King Diamond – Masquerade of Madness
Four years after the release of his latest single, Danish singer King Diamond poses images on “Masquerade of Madness”. The opportunity to return to this horrific mid-tempo in which he shows that he still has his high-pitched vocal signature.
Lucifer – At the Mortuary
The project of Johanna Sadonis and Nicke Andersson (The Hellacopters) continues to make the riffs speak with “At The Mortuary”. Lying somewhere between hard rock and heavy metal, the Swedes are preparing to release their next album, Lucifer V, on January 26, 2024.
Armored Saint – Left Hook From Right Field (live)
Dive back into 2010 album La Raza with “Left Hook From Right Field,” recorded live in Dallas. Heavy metal group active since the 80s, Armored Saint multiplies epic titles and catchy riffs, with increased energy on stage, as shown in the video below.
Slower – War Ensemble
Essential for Slayer concerts, War Ensemble is a true anthem to violence, conducive to moshpits. However, the aptly named group Slower had fun slowing down the pace and giving an unexpected groove to this thrash missile, completely changing its color.
Skeletal Remains – Void of Despair
The American death metal band Skeletal Remains continues its rise with the deliciously brutal “Void Of Despair”, with apocalyptic riffs and supersonic tempo. This title allows the group to announce the release of Fragments of the Ageless, scheduled for March 8, 2024.
Exit Eden – Run!
The symphonic metal trio Exit Eden is preparing to release their new album, entitled Femmes Fatales, on January 12, 2024. We find in the catchy single “Run! » Marko Hietala, whose characteristic tone contributed to the success of Nightwish between 2002 and 2021.
Tragedy – Memory
If Tragedy initially focused on covering disco songs (particularly Bee Gees) with a metal twist, the project broadened its scope by covering “Memory” from the musical Cats. To be found in their album I Am Woman, available since March.
