Arkano's confession about what happened at Melendi's wedding that will surprise you

Music news

Arkan has revealed one of the most emotional, curious and affectionate anecdotes of his career: how he ended up singing at the wedding of the well-known singer Melendi. In a recent interview on the Cadena SER podcast A las bravas, the rapper shared the details of this unexpected and fun experience that has left many of his followers surprised.

It all started when Arkano received an unexpected call from Melendi, who asked him to perform at her wedding. Although Arkano and Melendi knew each other and had collaborated in the past, the rapper did not expect to be invited to such a personal event, much less be part of the entertainment.

Because the Spaniard asked him, neither more nor less, to create some rhymes and verses for when his future wife, Julia Nakamatsu, approached the altar. One of the moments, without a doubt, most emotional for any bride and in which the singer trusted his friend to summarize his deepest feelings.

On the day of the wedding, Arkano arrived at the event location, a beautiful estate on the outskirts of Madrid. The atmosphere was magical, with hanging lights, flowers everywhere and a host of famous guests from the world of music and entertainment. Arkano felt a little nervous at first, but the warmth of the hosts and the excitement of the moment helped him relax. “I get along very well with Melendi,” he explained.

The wedding took place in September 2019 at around 1:00 p.m. and took place at the Batres Castle, in a town in the Community of Madrid bordering Toledo. And after the emotional verses and rhymes, the kiss of the bride and groom who complied with many of the traditions of a day like this but who innovated in the presentation of the wedding to the guests.

It must be remembered that Melendi and Arkano not only coincided in the La Voz musical talent show but have also shared one of the greatest successes of the Asturian's career with Alejandro Sanz: Let her dance.
