The Weeknd postpones album release to January 31st

The Weeknd delays the release of “Hurry Up Tomorrow” to Friday, January 31, 2025.

AND the most listened to artist in the world and has kept the music world in suspense awaiting the release date of his new and widely announced album, but in light of the tragedy that is affecting the population of Los Angeles, a city very dear to the artist, The Weeknd is postponing the release of the project and cancels the launch event concert scheduled for January 25th at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

The artist thus announced the news through his social channels:

“Out of respect and concern for the people of Los Angeles County, I am canceling the Rose Bowl concert originally scheduled for January 25th. This city has always been a profound source of inspiration for me and my thoughts are with all those who have been affected during this difficult time. In light of this, I have also decided to postpone the release of my album to January 31st. My goal remains to support the recovery of these communities and help their incredible people rebuild. Love, Abel.”
