Soundgarden reappears in Seattle for a benefit concert

A night full of nostalgic moments for fans.

He passesDecember 14, surviving members of soundgarden, Kim Thayil (guitarist), Matt Cameron (drummer) and Ben Shepherd (bassist) met at a benefit concert that took place in the city of seattle. The presentation aimed to raise funds for the Seattle Children's Hospital and had the powerful voice of Shaina Shepherd.

He setlistcomposed of six songs, was full of nostalgic moments for fans, with iconic pieces from the beginnings of soundgardenas “Flower” and “Beyond the Wheel” from the album Ultramega OKas well as “Hunted Down” from the EP Screaming Life/Fopp. Another highlight was the participation of Duff McKaganbassist of Guns N' Roseswho joined in the songs “Kickstand” and the explosive closing with a version of “Kick Out the Jams” of MC5.

The meeting took all attendees by surprise, since their participation in the concert was announced just 10 days before under the name Nudedragons (an anagram of soundgarden) a special wink for the band's followers. This was the first time the members performed together since their appearance in 2019, where they honored their late leader, Chris Cornellwho took his own life in 2017.

The night was a sample of the legacy of soundgarden and their ability to unite generations through music, all while supporting a noble cause.
