Join me and travel to the homes of four bass legends and delve into their lives. And their inspirations. And have fun making music, while trying to answer a very important question: are bass players human beings too? » Check out the trailer below.

Lee put his music career on indefinite hold when Rush drummer Neil Peart died in 2020 from an aggressive form of brain cancer. Last year, he reunited with Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson to play some old classics at special concerts commemorating the 25th anniversary of South Park and the life of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

“ For a long timeLee told WECB in 2021, I didn’t have the heart to play. I still feel like there’s music in me, and there’s music in Big Al, but I’m in no rush to do anything. »

Whatever happens in the future, Lee is confident that Rush will never try to continue without Peart. “ It’s overLee said. I’m still very proud of what we did. I don’t know what I’ll do next in music. And I’m sure Al doesn’t know either, whether together, apart, or anything else. But Rush’s music is still a part of us. And I would never hesitate to play any of these songs in the right context. But at the same time, you have to respect what the three of us and Neil did together. »
