Music news

In an interview with Télé-Loisirs, the emblematic winner of the first season of “Star Academy” spoke about a possible future in the cult show.

Twenty-three years after her victory at the “Star Academy”, Jenifer returned to the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys, reviving many memories for fans of the show. Invited on the occasion of “old people” week, the singer did not hide her emotion in returning to this place steeped in history. “It seems so weird to me! It's been many years since I came back here (…) You weren't born, I think…“, she confided with nostalgia.

So could this visit mark the start of a new role for Jenifer in the show that revealed her? In an interview devoted to Télé-Loisirs, the singer of “Juke Box Tour” answers bluntly: “Oh no! I became a coach, a talent coach. But a teacher… I don't know if I'll be up to the task of giving lessons to someone… I, who lack so much discipline”. If becoming a teacher does not seem to be on the agenda, viewers can nevertheless count on his luminous presence, as evidenced by his participation in the November 23 prime.

As a reminder, Jenifer has already played the role of coach for several seasons of The Voice. In 2021, however, she chose to put this experience on hold to devote herself to other artistic projects.
