The young Belgian singer could well represent her country at Eurovision in May 2025. To do this, she will first have to prove herself against seven other artists in the running, during the “Eurosong” preselection.
Who will represent Belgium in the 2025 Eurovision song contest? After Mustii last year, Mentissa could take on this role for the 69th edition of the competition which will be held in Switzerland next May. The 25-year-old singer, born in a Flemish town, is one of eight candidates competing in “Eurosong 2025”, the Belgian show which will select the Belgian candidate for Eurovision.
The singer of the hits “Et Bam” and “Mamma Mia” was quick to share the good news on her social networks. “I can finally tell you! I'm participating in destination Eurovision 2025 (alongside 7 other incredible artists) to possibly represent Belgium at Eurovision 2025“, she rejoiced.

During this show, the eight artists will have to present an original composition in the language of their choice. They will be decided by the public who will vote for one of them during the grand final scheduled for February 1, 2025.
Mentissa has not yet revealed the song she will perform, but she has already confided her excitement to Belgian broadcaster VRT: “In recent years, Eurovision has become much more than just a singing competition. It has become a world full of courage and daring, where everyone is free to be fully themselves and where creativity knows no limits” she said.
After “The Voice”, head for Eurovision
The young singer is a regular on music shows. She won “The Voice Kids” in Belgium in 2014 and finished finalist in season 10 of “The Voice” in France, in Vianney’s team. After a successful first album and a successful tour, the young singer was chosen in 2024 by the teams of “The Voice Belgium” to become, in turn, a member of the jury.
Widely appreciated by the public, Mentissa therefore has every chance of passing this preselection stage with flying colors. And to represent Belgium at Eurovision. Response February 1st.
