The duo made up of great exponents will release their self-titled debut album in 2025.
The prolific musician and composer, Ty Segall, just a few months after releasing the ambitious album Three Bells and the experimental Love Rudiments, returns with a new musical project in the company of the guitarist Corey Maddenrecognized for his work in the group Color Green. Together they form Frecklea fresh and experimental duo.
As a first taste, Freckle launched “Taraval”; an acoustic folk rock improvisation with soft and relaxed touches at the beginning, until fading into a dizzying climax. A song between calm and intensity.
This new project arrives at one of the most productive moments of Ty Segall, who knows how to take advantage of his capacity by adapting to different styles, rhythms and genres, becoming a versatile exponent. It seems that Freckle It will be an interesting stage and will offer us an extensive catalog, between letters and sounds.
