British superstar Dua Lipa invited Belgian singer Pierre de Maere on the remix of her track “These Walls”. A unique duo which won over the audiences of both artists.
Clearly, Dua Lipa has a real affinity with Belgian artists! After her duet with Angèle on the title “Fever” which was a real success in 2020, it is on the voice of Pierre de Maere that the British singer has set her sights. The two artists signed together, this Friday, November 8, the remix of the title “These Walls”, present on Dua Lipa's latest album.
While the British star keeps his first verse in English, Pierre de Maere shines in French in the second, before the languages mingle in the chorus. We then enjoy hearing Dua Lipa singing in the language of Molière. “But if these walls could talk / (They'd say) Enough / (They'd say) Give up (I know) / If you still love me / (They'd say) Say it / (They'd say ) Stronger“, are the lyrics of this remixed chorus.
The duo immediately won over the community of both artists. “Best feat of the year!“, commented a fan on YouTube. “A superb duo, which goes together so well“, underlines another.
Dua Lipa made the release of this title official this Friday morning by publishing on her Instagram account several photos revealing the two accomplice artists, as well as a video in which we see them singing the song.

In his Instagram story, the “Houdini” singer added a few words about this beautiful meeting: “I love love love Pierre de Maere's voice on 'The Walls' from the moment I heard it!! I was so excited to sing in French again and share this new version with you“, she wrote.
A surprise collaboration
Revealed to the general public in 2022 with his title “One day I will marry an angel”, Pierre de Maere defended his album “Regarde-moi” on stage last year. The 23-year-old Belgian singer himself revealed his collaboration with Dua Lipa, the day before the release of the title, by publishing photos of them in the studio. The caption gave only one indication: “tonight at midnight“.

The announcement caused a real surprise among Internet users who expressed their amazement in the comments: “No, a fry, that's the multiverse“, exclaims one of them. This collaboration “stratospheric“, as one subscriber describes it, did not fail to make many artists react as well.”So proud of you my love ❤️ ❤️ ❤️“, congratulated Zaho de Sagazan. “What a surprise!!! I really didn't expect it!!!! (hihi)“, commented Clara Luciani. For Carbonne, this duo is simply a “crazy!! 🔥 🔥“
The Belgian-British duo formed by Dua Lipa and Angèle was a hit with their hit “Fever”, certified gold single in December 2020. We wish the same success to Pierre de Maere this year.
