Music news

Kendji Girac unveils “I changed”, a song addressed to his wife Soraya, taken from his new album “Vivre”.

Six months after an accident that almost cost him his life, Kendji Girac is back with his sixth album “Vivre”. Released on October 4, this opus celebrates his 10-year career with 11 intimate and personal tracks and remains faithful to his gipsy pop style. Currently in promotion, the singer spoke on the show 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. On October 6 on France 2, the interpreter returned to this event and the support of his loved ones who helped him get back on his feet, in particular his wife Soraya.

Soraya, “a strong woman”

Among the titles of “Vivre”, the song “I changed” is a direct tribute to the mother of his daughter Eva. In this piece, Kendji Girac expresses how much she is a pillar in his life. “ I was very moved to be able to sing this to her, to comfort her with its quite strong words, and above all true, which once again come from the heart “, he declared, before emphasizing the importance of his presence by his side since the start of their relationship. Through this song, Kendji wants to show her that he has evolved and that he now aspires to build a solid future for her and their family.

She is a very strong woman, contrary to what has been said in the media, insisted Kendji Girac. We were a little shocked by some of the statements. So I had to tell him that I have changed and that I want to do things right “.

With this album, Kendji gives himself up fully, while preparing for a new tour: “Our 10 years”.
