King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizardthe Melbourne group known for their versatility and psychedelic style, have released a new single titled “Phantom Island” and has announced an ambitious tour with an orchestra. Made up of Stu Mackenzie, Ambrose Kenny-Smith, Joey Walker, Cook Craig, Luke Harwood and Michael Cavanaghthe band explores genres ranging from progressive and psychedelic rock to thrash metal and jazz.

Our last album had 10 songs but we recorded 20 in that session,” frontman Stu Mackenzie explained in a press release. “This is one of those tracks. It is even more complete than the previous one. There’s a whole damn orchestra there.”

The tour Phantom Islandwhich will support the band's next album, will feature the participation of the musical director Sarah Hicks and will extend for 11 dates in the United States between July and August 2025. Each presentation promises a unique experience, where the group's experimental sound will merge with the power of a full orchestra.

Tickets will be available starting this Friday, November 1 at 10:00 AM. With this innovative tour, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard continues to break musical barriers and offer new experiences to his fans.
