THE VIDEO INTERVIEW

THE SONG

In “Vien”, Rue Diego and Papa V take the listener back to a suburban environment, describing all the difficulties through dark lyrics. With captivating rhythms and tight bars, the two artists are ready to present this new collaboration, which sees them determined to send a direct and sincere message.

The stylistic feature of Rue Diego's music is the use of the Neapolitan dialect in his verses, a characteristic with which he managed to involve the public also in previous stories. Added to this are Pope V's straight and provocative punchlines, creating a unique and evocative union between the Neapolitan urban tradition and the new trap attitude that is invading the Milanese suburbs.

Thanks to profound lyrics, Rue Diego is among the young rappers who are getting noticed for the ability with which they manage to tell the reality of the street and the difficulty of neighborhood life, with an engaging dialectic, through verses in which the listener is led to retrace his story and that of the people around him.

The artist's songs talk about the suffering encountered every day in these situations and the desire for revenge, a feeling shared by him and the kids in his suburbs, driven by the search for a better future. The voice of Rue Diego therefore becomes representative of all the kids who feel the need to assert themselves and redeem themselves.
