Soon back on TF1, the Star Academy promises a vibrant tribute to Grégory Lemarchal, with a new single sung by the students.

Season 12 of Star Academy promises to be full of emotions. And for good reason, she plans to pay tribute to a student who died too soon: Grégory Lemarchal. It's been 20 years since the public met the iconic winner of the fourth season.

A new song by Grégory Lemarchal

TF1 indicated that an entire week will be dedicated to previous editions, with particular emphasis on the season which saw the birth of this singer who continues to leave his mark. On this occasion, the new promotion will record a single based on an unreleased song written by Grégory Lemarchal before his death in 2007. Before his departure, Grégory wrote a lot of songs. This year, the students of the new promotion will record a single, one of the songs written by Grégory »said Karima Charni, during the press conference organized by the first channel, yesterday.

Grégory, the voice of an angel

This initiative aims to honor his memory while supporting the association that bears his name, Grégory Lemarchal Association: putting an end to cystic fibrosiscreated by his family. As a reminder, Karine Ferri's former boyfriend touched the hearts of many fans thanks to his unique voice and his sensitivity, notably with emblematic titles such as “Write history”. Since his death at the age of 23, TF1 has regularly paid tribute to this angelic voice.
