THE CURE listens to second single "A Fragile Thing"

There is less than a month left until the release of The Cure Alone's new album “SONGS OF A LOST WORLD”. After Halo the new single comes out today A Fragile Thing.

THE SINGLE

The new single has all the elements of Cure. Smith's guitar, the fragility of a melancholic love and a persistent piano that accompanies the entire piece. Compared to Alone, the pace goes back but the magic remains intact. Once again a pearl!

THE DISC

“SONGS OF A LOST WORLD” was written and arranged by Robert Smith, produced and mixed by Robert Smith & Paul Corkett and performed by The Cure – Robert Smith: Vocals / Guitar / Bass / Keyboards, Simon Gallup: Bass, Jason Cooper: drums/percussion, Roger O'Donnell: keyboard, Reeves Gabrels: guitar. The album was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales.

Robert Smith created the concept and Andy Vella, faithful collaborator of the Cure, took care of the design and visual part. The cover portrays a 1975 sculpture by Janes Pirnat, “Bagatelle”.

THE FORMATS

“SONGS OF A LOST WORLD” is available for pre-order in physical format and will be released in Italy in the following formats: CD, LP, CD + Blu-Ray. The black double LP mastered in half-speed and the cassette will be available exclusively on the Universal Music Italia store. A marble-colored LP will be available exclusively for Feltrinelli. For those who pre-order standard products through Discoteca Laziale, however, a dedicated poster will be available exclusively.
