Sony has announced the expansion of the LinkBuds range, which from today will also offer the LinkBuds Fit and LinkBuds Open wireless earphones and the LinkBuds Speaker.
Since launching in 2022, with the introduction of the unique ring design, the LinkBuds series has stood out for its comfort levels and ability to connect the online and offline worlds without compromising audio quality.
These features have not only been maintained in the new models, but have also been further improved, thanks to the valuable feedback from users, who have contributed to the development of even more comfortable, practical and smart earphones, according to the motto “Keep every world on”.
Designed especially for those who lead an active lifestyle, LinkBuds Fit and LinkBuds Open are equipped with new, lighter ear adapters to ensure comfort and fit for the wearer throughout the day. Additionally, LinkBuds Open's newly developed open-loop design means you never lose contact with your surroundings.
And that's not all: both models, as well as the cases and adapters, are available in a wide variety of colors to suit all tastes. In addition to the two innovations in the earphones category, Sony also introduces the LinkBuds Speaker, which, thanks to the Auto Switch function, allows you to automatically transfer music playback between the speaker and earphones, including the previous LinkBuds S model, for each type of need.
As part of the For The Music audio campaign, Sony has also renewed its collaboration with multi-platinum and three-time GRAMMY®-winning singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo, who personally contributed to the choice of equalizer settings and user interface for offer its fans an optimal listening experience.
And, as already happened last year with the LinkBuds S, the new earphones are also available in violet, the artist's distinctive colour.

LinkBuds Open continues the revolution of the listening experience with an open-loop design designed to maintain connection with the outside world. Practical and lightweight, the new adapters/covers for the earcups ensure maximum comfort all day long and are available in a wide range of colors to adapt to all styles.
LinkBuds Speaker. With the new speaker it is possible to listen to music all day, thanks to intelligent functions, such as the Auto Switch, which ensure optimized connectivity and well-balanced and excellent quality audio, despite the compact size. Conversations on the phone are always clear and crisp, while the long-lasting battery and the practical strap give great freedom of movement.
THE NEW APP
LinkBuds Fit and LinkBuds Open are compatible with the new Sound Connect11 app, thanks to which you can customize the earphones by adjusting various settings, including the equalizer. The simple interface allows you to select the ideal sound and quick settings, and even track your recent listening history, in line with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. By activating the Background Music Effect function, which uses the DSP processor, the audio appears to come from the surrounding space rather than from the earphones, ideal when you are doing other activities or want a more relaxed listening experience.
THE ENVIRONMENT
Sony products are designed to deliver quality audio while respecting the environment. Confirming Sony's commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its products and operations, the packaging of the LinkBuds Fit, LinkBuds Open and LinkBuds Speaker is made without the use of plastic. Additionally, the devices contain recycled plastic in both the earphones and charging case, as well as in some parts of the speaker.
