LINKIN PARK “Heavy Is The Crown” The Anthem of the League of Legends World Championship 2024 (Watch the Video)

Music news

LINKIN PARK—Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn, Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain—continue their buildup to the release of their new album with a new single titled Heavy Is The Crown.

The song is the anthem for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship and marks the band’s first collaboration with Riot Games. The track has a punch, making it an anthem both for the high-octane, multidimensional competition of League of Legends and for music festivals around the world. Naturally, “Heavy Is The Crown” paves the way for LINKIN PARK’s first album since 2017, FROM ZERO, out November 15.

“Heavy Is The Crown” comes on the heels of the band's first new single in seven years, 'The Emptiness Machine' which became a seismic global hit. It jumped into the Top 5 on the Spotify Global Chart, hit #1 at both alternative and rock radio in the U.S., catapulted to #1 on the Billboard Alternative and Rock Airplay Chart, and entered the Billboard Hot 100 at #21.

The new album “From Zero” will be released on November 15th.
