BRUNORI SAS releases “La ghigliottina” listen to the new song

Music news

The guillotine it's the new song by Brunori Sas.

In a frenetic flow of images, thoughts, considerations and contradictions, with the sharp pen of Dario Brunori serving multiple keys to reading contemporaneity, “La ghigliottina” moves between essential guitar riffs in the opening and excited riffs to frame excerpts of daily ideal and ideological quarrels.

“La ghigliottina” is a current affairs song… and current affairs, as we know, are always slippery.

For this reason, in getting into this mess, I wore the clothes of a reporter and an author, alternating sentences I picked up around with stuff that crossed my mind. The final draft is the result of a sort of crasis suggested to me by Riccardo Sinigallia, the fusion of two pre-existing songs that revolved around common themes, but without a particular focus…

The mashup instead came up with a disconcerting version, which in some ways recalls the schizophrenic flow of images and sounds of scrolling on social media. We liked it and here it is. – Dario Brunori

With “La ghigliottina” Brunori’s partnership with Riccardo Sinigallia, the song’s artistic producer, continues – he already worked with Dario on “La vita com'è”: a partnership that promises to bring new surprises and musical inspiration for a new album that Brunori is working on.
