Music news

A week after the release of her video clip 'Summer Body', Helena reveals to her fans the unexpected challenge she had to overcome to make her video which is a hit on YouTube.

Impossible to miss! The video clip for “Summer Body”, taken from the first EP of Helena, semi-finalist of the “Star Academy 2023”, is a resounding success. Released on August 12, it is currently in fourth place in the top music trends on YouTube. Already a week and wow thank you for the welcome you gave to my first clip ” shared the singer on her Instagram account.

As a reminder, its title celebrates the diversity of bodies. Its clip thus features Helena surrounded by women, among whom Camille Cerf, Miss France 2015, fervent ambassador of the body positive. ” Having seen it in real life, it was magical. ” she commented, recalling the experience of filming.

A choreography by Helena

Behind the scenes of the shoot reveals a surprise: Helena herself designed the choreography for the video. Originally, there wasn't supposed to be any dancing at all… my brother said: 'yeah, maybe we'll put a dancer in…' And then he said to me: 'are you excited to do it yourself?' “, confides the young singer, specifying that this suggestion was made to her only three days before filming.

Passionate about dance, Helena took up this challenge by creating a simple and delicate choreography: “ I wanted something that was pretty and not too complicated. So here it is, I created this little choreography. It's very cute “. ” This is my favorite passage without a doubt, it has so much meaning, it's so sweet and powerful at the same time… proud of you Hélé ” said one of his fans.
