Imagine Dragons unveils an unreleased live performance of “Nice To Meet You”

Music news

The rockers have released a new version of their hit “Nice To Meet You” on YouTube. An ethereal piece that offers a beautiful visual setting of light in a clip with a hushed atmosphere.

Imagine Dragons released their sixth album, “Loom”, on June 28th. An album that surprised the public with the variety of sounds and atmospheres brilliantly distilled by the Americans. One of the most interesting tracks on this album is perhaps the hit “Nice to Meet You”. With its house-pop and neo-soul vibes, the song perfectly illustrates this association between fundamentals and experimentations that the members of the group have allowed themselves.

Good news for fans, as the band is currently preparing for their tour, for which they have a few surprises in store for us, as Dan Reynolds and Wayne Sermon promised us during their recent interview for WECBa previously unreleased live version of “Nice To Meet You” has just been unveiled on Youtube’s Vevo channel. A performance that is part of the “Extended Play” series that visually captures the overall atmosphere of an artist’s project. In this case, the magnificent soft lighting effects provided in the Los Angeles studio where “Loom” was recorded give the album the colors that its music expresses.

A superb demonstration for fans of the Las Vegas group, who will be able to discover this album from other angles. In the video, we see Dan Reynolds and his gang having a blast on this magical instrumental. All in a setting that lends itself wonderfully to the sweet melodies of the song.
