The 56-year-old artist has just released his new single HEART LIKE A HOMETOWNa preview of this next work, his album HIGH.
The country icon has been releasing previews for several months that will be part of this album. The first was the topic STRAIGHT LINEwhich were followed by MESSED UP AS ME, GO HOME WU and WILDSIDE. With HEART LIKE A HOMETOWN There are already five songs that we can enjoy while waiting of the full album on September 20th.
On his social media, the artist confessed that he was going to be honest with this work. “This album is the result of a project that I started in 2022. It lasts 40 minutes from start to finish, and It's completely expressive, true, honest and much more than I wanted to tell when we started creating it. “I hope these songs bring you joy, lightness, understanding, energy and an escape,” Keith wrote on Instagram.

That honesty is something we can see in the lyrics of HEART LIKE A HOMETOWN. The singer opens his heart to confess to the other person that they will always have a place in him.My heart is like a village, you always have a place to put down your roots or spend a vacation. (Cause my heart's like a hometown, you've always got a place To put down some roots or spend a holiday)”, says the second verse.
Although we haven't yet seen any music videos for this new era of Keith Urban, the singer has shared the audio of the song on YouTube along with a sweet photo of him as a child accompanied by a guitar, proving that he has always been very connected to music.
