Caribou presents “Volume”, their new single

A fusion of pop and techno that pays homage to the beginnings of electronic music.

Dan Snaithbetter known as Cariboureturns with “Volume”a song that explores the boundaries of pop and techno. The Dundas, Ontario native, has captivated his listeners with previous songs such as “Honey” and “Broke My Heart” but, on this occasion, it takes us on a sonic journey that evokes the early days of electronic music.

“Volume” is inspired by “Pump Up The Volume” of M|A|R|R|Sa 1987 classic that marked a milestone in the life of Snaith. According to the artist himself, listening “Pump Up The Volume” as a child was a transformative experience. “It completely blew my mind, it sounded like something from another world.” That influence has stayed with him over the years and although it wasn’t a conscious process, Snaith feels like he's returned to his roots with this new song.

“Volume” It is not only a tribute to the music that inspired it, but also a modern reworking that combines nostalgic elements with the innovation characteristic of Caribou.Now available on all digital platforms, this single promises to be a hit with new listeners and long-time fans alike, offering a listening experience that connects the past with the present in a unique style.
