24 hours after announcing that he would not be able to attend the Live au Campo festival in the Pyrénées-Orientales, this Thursday, July 25, Slimane sent a tender message to his fans. The singer filmed himself to thank them for all their messages of support. In one of his recent Instagram stories, we can see Esmeralda's dad, moved, facing the camera.

Slimane says to himself “sad » to have to cancel his concert tonight and reveals that it is a «first time” in his career. The artist must, in fact, rest because he has a “bronchitis mixed with rhino that attacked his vocal cords”.

The interpreter of “My love” adds that he is “exhausted“. “I've been chaining quite a bit lately“, says the man who participated in Eurovision 2024 but also continued to perform on tour and released a new single for peace.

He concludes his touching message by revealing that he hopes “be ready for the Olympics“. Slimane is, in fact, due to give a free concert in Saint-Denis on the afternoon of July 26, ahead of the long-awaited opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The event, broadcast on France 2, is expected to begin around 4:30 p.m.
