Slash announces the release of a blues album featuring a plethora of prestigious guests. A first extract is available.

Slash announces the release of Orgy of the Damned, his first studio album entirely dedicated to the blues. The Guns N’ Roses guitarist covers classics such as “Hoochie Coochie Man” or Living for the City” or unearths little-known gems. Scheduled for release on May 17, this disc features many notable guests, such as Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes), Billy F. Gibbons (ZZ Top), Beth Hart, Iggy Pop and many others.

On the first single, “Killing Floor”, originally written by Chester Burnett, we find Brian Johnson of AC/DC on vocals and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith on harmonica. Discover this cover via the player below:

The musician did not specify whether he would enhance his next visit to Paris, scheduled at the ZĂ©nith on April 29, with some blues covers. On the other hand, he will present titles of 4his latest album to date.
