Polo Nández and Mar Lucas sing about the duality of love in ‘Parte de Mí’

Music news

Polo Nandez and Mar Lucastwo of the most heard revelation voices last year, have joined their talents in Part of me, a pop song with very fresh sounds that already brings us spring.

Thanks to the tour held last summer under the label of WECB Summer Livein which the two singers participated and met for the first time, Polo Nández and Mar Lucas gave way to a beautiful friendship that has ended up proving to be a perfect musical tandem with Part of me.

With this song, the man from Leon and the man from Barcelona put rhythm to a bittersweet love story, one of those in which there comes a point where You don’t know whether to accelerate or brake. This is the duality that both artists refer to in the lyrics, which captures the essence of second chances and forgiveness.

In a story that explores the labyrinths of love and pride, Part of me invites us to reflect on the complexities of love relationships. Forgiveness is often overlooked, but the song reminds us of the importance of leaving our haughtier side behind when relationships go through the typical bumps.

Polo Nández and Mar Lucas play with the legend of the red thread

Acknowledging your mistakes and, above all, that you still love that special person is the most important step, according to the interpreters. Furthermore, both singers make reference to the legend of the red thread in the video clip that accompanies the release of the song. This eastern fable says that “an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstances. The red thread can be stretched, contracted or tangled, but never broken.”

That is why Polo Nández and Mar Lucas play with the meaning of this very popular story. In the audiovisual piece we see a love that, despite the uncertainty that may flood it at any given moment, when you no longer expect anything from it, there is always something that comes back that you cannot resist.
