Artists and professionals such as MarĂa Becerra, Lola ĂŤndigo, InĂ©s Hernand, Leila Cobo and Rosa Lagarrigue have been part of the project. “We believe that She Sounds is a necessary initiative to show the role of women in music because in this industry there is still no equality and there is a lack of opportunities for female talent. The entire sector agrees on this. And it is an initiative for everyone. Therefore That’s what we want to show the music composed, performed and produced by women. And if in two editions, concentrated in 2023, so many women’s voices have gathered, it is because here there is a job to be done by everyone. From the emotion and pride of what “women are contributing to this sector” explained Diana Izaguirre, A&R Manager at Warner Music.
