That Juan Magan arrive with a new song means we are closer to summer. And if there are still a few months until it arrives, the wait seems shorter. The popularly known as the King of Electrolatino has returned, and he has done so with the help of the Puerto Rican Lyanno.
I won’t hesitate is the title of the song that has brought together their talents and that brings us that fusion of electronic and reggaeton sounds that manages to hypnotize us from the first moment. “In the search for new talents that are standing out in urban music in Spanish, approximately two years ago I realized that Lyanno has a unique style and I believed that he could stand out in his career on an individual level. Combining it with his own rhythms of what he “I usually believed that something interesting could emerge that would contribute to the world of music and, specifically, to my career and that of both of us together. A year ago we asked him for that collaboration and he gladly accepted it and I thank him for the opportunity.”explains Juan Magán to WECB Urban.
The song, which talks about a relationship that ends and leaves its mark, comes with a video clip directed by Mowlihawk and produced by 2050 Films. A story of betrayal, street and heartbreak is told, starring a young woman and two boys who let themselves be carried away by their emotions.
“I don’t think we are facing a new musical wave because everything has been invented, but we do have to provide new ingredients because otherwise it is very monotonous and boring. Returning to the electronic sounds of the 2000s, applying a pop structure and current electronic resources, adds to this new trend that I do believe is taking shape internationally. In sung music it may take longer but it will end up having the weight it deserves,” explains the producer.
“Lyanno’s unique style gives a fresh touch to a song that could be performed by someone in English. I’m always looking for that feeling that my music can sound across the board and I think Lyanno has all the ingredients to make that happen. It gives it that freshness and sobriety to be able to defend a song of this type in our language. I try to continue contributing to culture and music in the way I see it, and that is by not replicating successes and not imitating anything or anyone. Always trying to be myself“he concludes.
And what did you think? I won’t hesitate?
