Debut at number one in the UK album charts for IDLES and their new album TANGK.

The Bristol-based quintet of Adam Devonshire, Joe Talbot, Mark Bowen, Lee Kiernan and Jon Beavis reached the top of the UK charts with 85% of their opening week sales being physical sales. It is the band’s second number one, after the 2018 album “Joy As An Act Of Resistance”.

Among the other new entries we find it at number two Paloma Faith with his latest studio collection “The Glorification of Sadness”while the indie rock group dei enters the charts at number seven Crawlers with their debut album “The Mess We Seem To Make”.

TANGK by IDLES it also topped the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and came in at number 1 in the Official Record Store Chart, making it the best-selling LP of the last seven days in UK independent record shops.
