Pierre Garnier (finally) unveils the acoustic version of “Those we were”

Music news

After a tease on his social networks that made his admirers lose their nerves, the winner of the “Star Academy” has just released the acoustic version of “Those we were”.

The suspense is finally over. After raising the heat on his social networks, Pierre Garnier’s song is finally here and, this time, it’s the right one. Yes, we’re talking about the acoustic version of “Those we were”. “ I know you were waiting for it a lot. Me too, now she’s yours so enjoy listen. I already love it and tell me what you thought of it », writes the winner of the 2023 edition of the “Star Academy”. Enough to continue the success of its title released on February 7.

As a reminder, some fans regretted the difference between Pierre’s guitar-voice interpretation during the finale of the show and the studio version with a more pop arrangement. A slight disappointment which did not prevent the title from breaking all records, including that of the best start of a French pop single in streaming, with more than 2 million streams in just 24 hours, as well as that of the most popular hit listened to in France this month.

Will success be there once again?

This acoustic version was eagerly awaited by fans. And according to the comments under Pierre Garnier’s Instagram post, it should further confirm the trend. “ This version is so magnificent, well done Pierre, I wish you from the bottom of my heart a beautiful and long career”, “I listen to it over and over”, “We close our eyes and we find the same emotions as when you sang it at the castle the first time “, we can read. A nice surprise which should keep his admirers in suspense before the release of his first album.
