1986 is the year of Prince. The Minneapolis artist ranks first among albums with “Parade”, the soundtrack to the film Under the Cherry Moon and also first among singles with his global hit Kiss.
It’s in the singles chart Cameo with his Word Up, Still Intro The Groove of Madonna (already in the 1985 hit) and the massive arrival of rap with i Run DMC by Walk This Way.
Among the albums besides Prince we find ourselves in second place Anita Baker with “Rapture” and number three Janet Jackson with “Control”.
