The characteristic warmth that defines Khruangbinthanks to their completely light and relaxing guitar lines, bass and vocals, are a product of the inspiration of their American roots that have been part of the band’s musical career.

“May Ninth”, is the successor of “A Love International” within TO THE ROOM, this is a song about memory and longing for a certain moment in life, the feeling of rain falling, as time passes it only becomes ‘a retained memory’. Bird songs in the background, a resonant guitar and the touches of the bass highlighting the melody, is another example of how Khruangbin It uses the sounds of the environment, both natural and artificial, and highlights the textures.
