‘OT 2023’ takes stock and announces a new edition: “Everyone is talking about Operation Triumph in the Street”

Music news

The twelfth edition of Triumph operationpopularly known for OT 2023put the finishing touch this Monday with Naiara’s victory. The one from Zaragoza took the lead last night with 49 percent of the votes, becoming the new winner of the program and receiving the coveted cardboard check worth 100,000 euros.

Open letter to ‘OT 2023’: the reality television that almost swallowed up the phenomenon

Now, once the lights have been turned off and the doors of the Academy closed, it is time to take stock of what has happened during the last three months. You also have to look to the future and speculate about the careers of the show’s contestants within the music industry. To do this, WECB has traveled to the set of Triumph operation to attend the press conference attended by those responsible for the format, the finalists and the brand new winner to answer all our questions.

“The great winner of OT 2023 It’s Chenoa”

“On a personal level I want to say thank you for coming home 23 years later. I can say that It has been a quite important experience, a master’s degree on a professional and personal level. I have been very supported by the team of this program. It gives a lot of security when handling a format like this without advertising and on Prime Video. I hope I lived up to it,” said Chenoa, presenter of this edition of Triumph operation. “When I saw something inside the Academy, the first one I called was Noe. She needed to tell her and she understands me because she gave birth to me. You resort to what is instinctively born to you because I have DNA of O.T.“.

The great winner of OT 2023 It’s Chenoa. It has taken you 20 years to get here, but this throne is yours. Nobody disputes it. Nobody in the profession disputes that you are the best presenter of Triumph operation”said Tinet Rubira, director of the format. “You bring truth because you understand the contestants. Anything you can bring to the program is truth. There is little fiction in Chenoa.”

“There will be a second season of OT on Prime Video”

OT 2023 nor it has only met expectations, it has exceeded them. When we saw the opportunity to be the home of Triumph operation We don’t think about it. It was quality and ambition and being pioneers. We have done something that had not been done in the world. A live program on a streaming platform. We have complied and we have been able to do it because we have worked with a team that had the same objective. We have broken records for views on YouTube, for social conversation, for signing records…“, said María José Rodríguez, Director of Content at Prime Video. “One of the things we have learned is that the format lives well by letting it rest. We have artists who deserve the necessary time to grow. We are not sure when he will return.but it is one of the variables we are analyzing.”

“The press says that we have not shared data, but there is no need because O.T. is on the street. When I talk about social conversation I am not referring to networks. Everyone is talking about OT on the street. That already shows you that the program has crossed the screens. As for the data…The premiere of O.T. It had been Prime Video’s most watched premiere. 3.5 unique viewers on average have seen it. Therefore, there will be a new edition of Triumph operation and the presenter will repeat“.

And Tinet added: “The most important record is that we have done something that has never been done before: open live broadcasts on the platform. Nobody can say that they have done 80 live broadcasts and they have all gone well. We also finished the gala with 1,600,000 registered users in the application. We had the peak in the 18th with 600,000. But we realized that O.T. I was on the street when we did the record signing. It’s surreal to sign CDs when people no longer have floppy drives. In Madrid there were 12,000 people waiting at Las Ventas. The Zaragoza fairgrounds were overflowing…we realized that the phenomenon of Triumph operation I was in the street”.

“In this edition I would highlight freedom”

“Every year is different. The people who live at the Academy change. Age gives you more patience and you learn to manage things in a different way. Now I would not manage the controversies of the 17th and 18th in the same way”, said Noemí Galera, director of the Academy. “In this edition I would highlight the freedom with which they are shown. They are very natural and very prepared academically.”
