Jul continues to lead the way. Fans of rap are being treated well at the beginning of this year. We’ve had new projects from PLK, Shay, Jul, Booba, Infinit’, and BEN plg. Media outlet Midi/Minuit has revealed the Top 10 best first weeks in 2024 in French hip-hop.
In tenth place, we find Rounhaa’s mixtape “Jaafar,” which sold 3,620 copies. He is surpassed by Lesram with “Du peu que j’ai eu, Du mieux que j’ai pu” (5,481 sales), Kerchak with “Saison 2” (6,246 sales), and S.Pri Noir with “La Cour des Miracles” (7,077 sales).
Shay’s comeback with “Pourvu qu’il pleuve” has attracted many listeners (7,867 sales). Meanwhile, PLK has confirmed his heavyweight status with the first part of his mixtape “Chambre 140” (11,421 sales). As for ZKR, he comes close to the podium with Volume 1 of “Mode Opératoire” (13,222 sales).
Finally, the top three is composed of Booba with “Ad Vitam AEternam” (15,175 sales), “Frères Ennemis” by Koba LaD and Zola (16,941 sales), and Jul with the thirtieth album of his career, “Décennie” (24,351 sales).
