SHAKIRA “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” the new album

Music news

“LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN” is the title of SHAKIRA’s new album out on March 22nd.

The album, which comes out 7 years after her last studio album “El Dorado”, is a great testimony to Shakira’s resilience and strength and to the power of music, capable of transforming even the most difficult experiences into precious moments.

Making this album was an alchemical process – says Shakira – As I wrote each song, I was rebuilding myself.

As I sang them, my tears turned into diamonds and my vulnerability into strength.”

“Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” will contain 16 tracks, of which 8 are new, 1 remix and 7 hit singles such as “Music Sessions Vol. 53” with Bizarrap, “TQG” with Karol G, “Te Felicito” with Rauw Alejandro (ORO in Italy), “Copa Vacía” with Manuel Turizo and others. The singles have totaled over 3.5 BILLION streams on Spotify.

“TQG” and “Music Sessions Vol. 53” both debuted at #1 on Spotify’s global Top 50. “Music Sessions Vol. 53” is the most played Spanish-language song in a single day in Spotify history. Shakira and Bizarrap also won “Song of the Year” and “Best Pop Song” for the track at the 2023 Latin Grammy® Awards.

Shakira already holds the title of best-selling female Latin artist in history, with a multi-year career of innovation and success, but has continued to solidify her legendary status over the past year thanks to the overwhelming success of her latest single releases.

THE FORMATS

Shakira’s new album, already available for pre-order, will be available on digital, CD and VINYL in three distinct versions, each dedicated to a precious stone: Diamante LP with crystal clear vinyl, Sapphire LP with transparent blue vinyl, LP Ruby with red vinyl.
