Pearl Jam’s new single, titled Dark Matter, is out. The song arrives after 4 years of silence since their last album and coincides with the announcement of the release of their twelfth album (out April 19th), with the same title as the single that precedes it.
After a long wait, the band returned in style with a song with strong rock sounds, anticipated by a post on Instagram dedicated to the various comments left to the band by fans from all over the world who were clamoring for the release of the new single. The song opens with a round of drums which is immediately followed by the electric guitar, before Eddie Vedder’s voice conquers the scene and dictates the intonation and style of the song. In closing, the guitar solo typical of the band’s sound is not missing.
“Gigaton”, Pearl Jam’s latest musical project (READ THE REVIEW), released in 2020 – the year in which the group celebrated 30 years of live performances – and welcomed with great enthusiasm by critics and fans from all over the world, it debuted in Italy #1 in the FIMI ranking of the best-selling records of the week and in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200.
In 2021, an engaging creative hub dedicated to the band was born, containing a digital collection of Pearl Jam music. The digital catalog was created with fans’ favorite tours during 2000, 2003, 2008 and 2013, designed to spark public interest as well as give access to this content to new generations born in the streaming era.
