Taylor Swift’s appearance at the 2024 Super Bowl may have helped the event become the most-watched show in American television history since the 1969 moon landing.

The Taylor Swift phenomenon continues to strike! The proof with the last Super Bowl which was held in Las Vegas, last Sunday February 7. Everyone only had eyes for the singer, who came to support her darling Travis Kelce, player of the Kansas City Chiefs team, in the stands.

Result ? The 2024 Super Bowl was the most watched Super Bowl of ALL time with 123.4 million viewers in the United States. According to a report by Nielsen and published by CBS, a record 202.4 million people watched at least part of the game across all networks. The recent event therefore managed to do better than last year’s match and the half-time concert provided by Rihanna.

That’s not all ! The victory of the Kansas City Chiefs over the San Francisco 49ers achieved the feat of being the most watched television program in history after the Apollo 11 moon landing. The historic event, which took place in July 1969, was watched by approximately 150 million people.

This record audience suggests that once again, the appearance of Taylor Swift has an impact on the success of an event. It must be said that the singer caused a sensation this Sunday, February 11, at Allegiant Stadium. Alongside her friends, Blake Lively, Lana Del Rey and Ice Spice, Taytay attracted attention in the stands, downing a beer at full speed. Taytay especially stole the show from Usher, who was performing at the Super Bowl halftime concert.

Finally, the interpreter of “Bad Blood” could not hold back his tears after the victory of the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers (25-22). The photo of her tender kiss to her lover Travis Kelce also made the rounds on the Internet.
