ARCADE FIRE in concert on July 2nd in Milan (Info and Tickets)

Music news

Arcade Fire return to Italy with a unique date which will be held on Tuesday 2 July 2024 at the Fiera Milano Live.

The date will be an opportunity to listen to their debut album Funeral, the 20th anniversary of which is being celebrated, as well as the other successes of the group defined as “the greatest live band in the world” by the Daily Telegraph.

Arcade Fire are a Canadian indie musical group that emerged at the beginning of the 00s also thanks to their ambitious live performances; in 2004 they released their first album Funeral, which thrilled the public and critics who acclaimed it as one of the best and most important albums of the 2000s. Precisely by virtue of the cathartic comparison between tragedy and celebration contained in the project, their debut album reached the top of the charts around the world and was defined as “number 1 album of the ’00s” by Rolling Stone.

Arcade Fire’s subsequent albums – Neon Bible, The Suburbs, Reflektor and Everything Now – have earned the band three No. 1s worldwide, nine GRAMMY nominations, four Juno Awards, a BRIT Award for Best International Album and a nomination to the Oscar for best original soundtrack for the film HER.

WE, Arcade Fire’s sixth album – released on May 6, 2022 and produced by Nigel Godrich, Win & Régine – is a 40-minute tale full of epic nature, which tells of the forces that threaten to distance us from the people we love, as well as the urgency to overcome them.
