This will be their latest visit to France since 2021, when the Dutch pop trio presented their album Knot. During their next visit to the Capital, they will take the opportunity to celebrate 50 years of their training. Henk Hofstede (vocals), Rob Kloet (drums) and Robert Jan Stips (keyboards) will present pieces from their entire career. The latter shows an indelible contribution to European pop, aided by a unique sound and approach. Among their biggest hits are standards such as ‘JOS days’, ‘In The Dutch Mountains’, ‘Adieu Sweet Bahnhof’, ‘Nescio’ and many others.
In addition, NITS are going on tour with a new mini-album under their arms, entitled Tree House Fire. The theme of this disc revolves around the fire which affected the trio’s studio. “On May 16, 2022, our De Werf studio burned to the ground,” they explain. “The fire took everything away. Fire gave us this album. The Tree is still standing. The bird is still singing. »
