SANREMO 2024: here is the first evening lineup

Music news

Press conference of the Sanremo organization before the debut of the Festival this evening, Tuesday 6 February.

AMADEUS

It’s always a new challenge.

I am overjoyed to start the Festival with Marco because he is a real talent but also a nice, ironic guy who does everything naturally.
Let’s go have fun, it’s the most important thing!

I enjoyed making music within music, both with Paola & Chiara and with Marco.

MARCO MENGONI

I’m lucky because not everyone can do what I’m going to do tonight.
Everything starts again and in the meantime I’m sweating a lot pretending that I’m impassive to all this anxiety.
However, I know how to pretend well and I studied a lot so as not to be embarrassed and terrified!!!
I tiptoe in trying to take me to the Festival!

I will sing on stage Two lives and a medley of songs that allowed me to be here today.
And during the evening I will try to make as few mistakes as possible!!!

Looking back at past festivals, I fell in love with that Sanremo where Anna Marchesini was there… an absolute genius!
She is the most important muse for me.

You don’t have to escape your fragility but only manage it.
Your brain doesn’t have to reject human emotions and sensations but just manage them.

The Sanremo stage is the most important stage in Italy.
Amadeus has found the right key to approach all generations and colors of Italian music.

This evening we’re going to have some fun!
